They used to be awesome - not anymore
I have purchased a number of Bonobos pants and shorts in the past and been very satisfied - in fact they were my favorite. In the last couple of years the fit changed. The rise increased (which was the deal killer for me) and they changed the metal hook system to a plastic button (going cheap). The current version is just okay so I'm searching for a new favorite. Not surprised to hear Bonobos is going out of business.

Great short, except for one thing
Very nice fabric and great quality. Super neutral color with Baja Dunes and the fit was slim, but not tight and very flattering on my husband. We tried to talk ourselves into keeping them, but the next day I announced "they are just about an inch too short" and he said he totally agreed, so unfortunately they went back. A shame, because they were great in every other way. He is 6 feet, so perhaps someone a tad shorter would love them.

Zipper Broke
My husband bought these three months ago, wore them twice and the side zipper broke. Otherwise, he really loves the shorts but disappointing the zipper broke provided the cost.

Nice quality
My husband is terrible to shop for(Especially online). These shorts fit beautifully. I purchased 2 pair(khaki & grey) He’s 210#, 6’ . He wears a 36 waist. They look like they were custom made for him. The fabric has a nice feel on his skin. Great length, not too long or short. The quality is so nice I don’t expect I’ll need to purchase another pair for a couple of years. When I do I’m sold on this brand.
