Skipper II Waterproof Rain Boot

We just received these boots yesterday. As soon as my daughter put them on she slipped twice which is completely odd for rain boots. They came with some kind of oil on the bottoms, I guess to prevent them from cracking but I think customers should be warned. I wanted to return but she really wanted them, once we walked on the side walk the grip was great. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR BABIES OR TODDLERS LEARNING TO WALK. Stick to the previous model, we owned that pair and never had that issue.

This was my first ever purchase with Bogs. I bought these for my two year old who has the widest foot ever. I have had such a time buying and returning shoes because none of them have came close to being wide enough. Even the wide sizes in major name brands have been a joke. I have been upset about it and thought maybe I would give rainboots a try. Let me tell you I was not disappointed! I love the flex ability of these boots, it really makes getting them on and off a breeze. The best part of all is the fact that my two year old can do this himself so I would say they are a great starter boot for teaching a child how to take shoes on and off. Needless to say even my seven year old saw them and told me that he will need a pair just like them! He loved them too! We are now your biggest fans.
