Westbourne Wide Leg Linen Trousers

I wound up with these after purchasing another style, highbury, last year. I found the style to be flattering and comfortable, and the linen is great for the hot weather. I sweat a lot so I love the dark colors. I have the highbury in teal, and this style in the stripe and navy blue. I take these with me in vacation because they can be so versatile, especially the black and navy. I’m 5’4 and I have some in petite so I can wear with flats. They do tend to run a little small in the waist but they sit high on the waist. I prefer a looser relaxed fit so I buy them a little big. The linen does relax a little on the hips, a little less on the waist. For reference, I normally wear 8-10, 28-29, jeans depending on brand and I have these in 8-10 petite and regular sizes On the us 10P the waist is approx 16in across and about 21-22in across hips, depending where you measure. I have the highbury style in 8R and the waist is approx 15in across and 20-21in across the hips. I think for me, them sitting high on the waist and relaxing through the hips kind of enhances the waist and smooths out the hips.

I recently decided to try these linen pants from Boden, inspired by an influencer's recommendation praising their quality. While Boden isn't a brand I typically gravitate towards, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The cut of these linen pants is flattering, featuring a design that accentuates all the right curves while providing a relaxed, effortless vibe. I am between sizes 2 and 4 and ultimately opted to keep the size 4 for a looser, more flowy style. I typically wear a 25 or 26 in jeans. One thing to note is that the pants are somewhat see-through, which is to be expected with white, un-lined linen. However, the addition of pockets not only adds a touch of modesty and also brings an interesting detail to the overall design. A nude thong is undetectable. If you're in the market for white linen pants that aren't see-through, I'd recommend checking out the Dissh Gina pant as well. I also own a pair, and they offer the same breezy comfort without the transparency issue. Overall, if you're looking for a cute and flattering pair of linen pants, Boden is definitely worth considering.
