Blundstone 1671 Chelsea Boot (Women)

These boots are the most comfortable! I did size up I’m normally an 8.5 but got a 9 so when I wear thicker socks. I’m obsessed and wear them any chance I get which is always since I got the black leather ones that practically go with everything. They are comfortable and have great material to help you grip the floor, no slipping with these. If you’re looking for a comfortable, classic boot with a small heel buy these!

After reading a ton of reviews, I decided to order both a half size up (8.5) from my normal size, and a full size up (9- I am a size 8 normally, and have a high arch, high instep, and bunions). The half size up fit, but felt too snug around the instep and also hit funny/tight at the heel- likely because of the tight instep. So the full size larger actually ended up working better for my foot shape with thicker winter socks- and I also wonder if the size conversion is off. They say an 8 is a 38 EU, but in my experience 39 is closer to an 8 on me. And their size 9 US is actually a size 39 EU. Great boots all around, but definitely size up and try two sizes at once, if you can!

I really had high hopes for these shoes. They're gorgeous and are not cheap. I opted for the shiny-er maroon-ish brown leather as the sales associate said they would hide scratches better, which they kind of did. I would not recommend these if you have to wear orthotics every day as I couldn't successfully put the shoes on with the orthotics in. After about 6 months of wearing them 4-5 days/week, the elastic on the side started tearing. I have normal-width feet, so I couldn't understand why they were wearing out so quickly and I've never heard of this happening before. I ended up taking them back because there has to be a bootie that will allow for stretching and last more than 6 months, as advertised by all the influencers.
