Beautyrest 300 Thread Count European All-Seasons Comforter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a down comforter for so long. I am really glad I waited to try the Beauty rest. I love that it is so pure, white and oh so soft. It is a a perfect size for my queen size bed. I plan on trying a duvet cover with it later jut for now I am just snuggling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best I have had in my bed, this duvet is very soft on my skin, I feel in the clouds, easy to wash and dry. Something that I really like is that it releases all the air when folding it and that is fabulous since I can store it when I am not using it and it will take up little space. The fabric looks and feels with extreme quality, the seams are very well defined with no imperfections. It gives a lot of comfort and warmth. Nothing beats a good night's rest between soft duvets for a good productive day. Recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a good product that I would recommend to a friend. When looking for a comforter, I like cotton thread, a sateen weave and down or a down blend. Being from New England (a cooler climate), the sateen finish is generally what I look in sheets. They are a little thicker, a little heavier and smoother feeling than a percale weave. Even though I use a comforter cover, I still like this weave. 100% Cotton Cover: This is listed as a 300-thread count fabric. I typically like the count to be in the 400-600 range but with natural materials, I’m ok with a lower number. I’ve uploaded a close-up photo of the weave with this review. You can see how nice and tight it is. Stitching: The baffle box and edge stitching seems very consistent and straight. There were a few thread ends noticed on each side of the comforter. Baffle box: This is a great way to keep the fill from migrating to the outsides. However, they could have been more consistent with the volume of fill in each box. I’ve included a photo of a box that had little filling next to one that had a lot. While the overall warmth is not affected, in principle only, it is not something you like to see. Fill: This was listed as a down fill comforter. But the manufacturer’s tag says “White Down (minimum 75% DOWN) contents Sterilized.” I don’t know could make up the other part. Photo of a piece of down taken from the seam attached to this review. Corners: Each corner features a latch point to secure a comforter cover to it. This strap allows various fasteners systems to lay flat. This is a great feature, Photo attached. Cleaning: Dry Clean only.
