Brenna Waterproof Pointed Toe Bootie (Women)

This is my third Blondo bootie purchase, and the second time I’ve had issues with the poor quality. The heel and soles of the boot is of extremely poor quality and scratches at the slightest touch, showing white, highly noticeable marks. It is made out of hard white plastic painted with a very thin layer of black paint. The leather of the boot also quickly bunched up and slouched. These boots looked completely worn down after just 1-2 wears and I was embarrassed to wear them out again. Expected much better quality for a ~$200 pair of shoes.

I wanted to love these and have worn Blondo in the past. I also should say that I love Nordstrom and have been store loyal for my entire life. This was the first time where I was truly shocked by poor quality buying from them. The Blondo Brenna boot had a piece of the zipper showing incorrectly (looked like manufacturer error). It had residual glue on some seams and when I put my foot in it, You could feel that the interior lining had peeled up and was folded over in one of the boots. Surprised by both Blondo and Nordstrom. Boot is very on trend and the Java leather is a great color for this season. Seemed true to size and a hair narrow which I like. Sadly, I sent them back. Nordstrom of course has a thankfully easy return process.

I bought a size 7 instead of my 6.5 based on other reviews stating that the toe box was very narrow, and they ended up being too big. I returned for my normal Blondo size of a 6.5 and hoping those work better. I do have a wider foot in general, and at least of the larger size, they didn't seem too narrow to me. We will see when I get my standard size. Overall this boot is beautiful and great quality. Assuming my standard size works, I will be keeping the 6.5.

I wanted to love these- they look really nice and I love this brand for being waterproof, but the toe is just too narrow. I was hoping to get them for a trip to Europe but there’s no way I can walk more than maybe a dinner in those because the pointed toe is way too narrow. I think a size up wouldn’t fit well because I ordered a 7.5 in another boot style from blondo and it was too big…. Might try and size up, we’ll see. I have 2 other pairs of blondos that are 7 and TTS and I have other pointy boots so I haven’t had issues with the narrowness before. Bummer!
