These are must have for bold, versatile and classy men. It was love at unboxing. Not your regular Birkenstock - the craftsmanship of this sandals are simply out of this world. Getting your real size makes a difference with this sandals as with any Birkenstocks depending on how you want a particular item to fit you and the occasion for which you would be wearing them. For this sandals, you wanna go half size (0.5) down for a grip fit. For instance my regular size is 9 and I went for the size range of 8-8.5 per the sizing guides since this is how this is sized. I have the Birkenstock Tokyo super grip clog shoes, because those I wear in the cold months with very thick socks, I got the 9-9.5 Birkenstock sizing range guide for the clog. So, when buying Birkenstock shoes, you have to consider the occasion for wearing them and that will determine how you get a perfect fit. This sandals exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend, especially in black. The black color has 85% of black hue, while retaining about 15% dark chocolate brown hue, making it blend and well accentuated with the gold hardware buckles. I would not go for any other color than the black.
