Bend Sneaker (Women)

I wore Birkenstock exclusively in the ‘90’s. Had sandals, oxfords, and Mary Jane’s. They all had the molded cork interiors just like their cheaper sandals do now. The Bend sneaker is different. It is stiff and heavy, but I think that I am gradually breaking it in. I chose it cause I needed to replace elderly oxfords of the same color. Time will tell.

First time purchasing Birkenstock. Sandcastle is very easy to match to any outfit. I tried the shoes on at the store and they ordered the pair in my right size and color online. They have a firm and supportive arch support. I have flat feet, and appreciate the roomier toe box and the arch support. My plan is to use them for travel.

I rarely write reviews, but value them immensely, which is why I wanted to join the others who have raved about these shoes. Like a few others suggested, I did get the suede protector kit and sprayed my shoes before wearing them. This has seemed to help them stay clean. I wear these any chance I get. I've started wearing to work, on weekends, etc. Comfy, stylish, and supportive. I have similar shoes by Camper in black, and am now eyeing the Birkenstock Bend Sneaker in white leather ! ;)
