runs small and sleeves are short and stiff.
Definitely runs small, will not give room to layer. Sleeves are too short, no stretch, and stiff limiting mobility. Will be returning.

Looks good but fit is way off
I am 5’ 8” and normally a size Small in Billy Reid. I ordered a Small in this coat and the shoulders were so narrow I could barely get it on. The buttons wouldn’t close across my chest. Either this was a one-off issue or this particular model has a design flaw. Going up a size wouldn’t correct this IMO.

Wearability vs Style
The Billy Reid Subtle Plaid Boiled Wool Coat boasts a classy design with a beautiful neutral grey and black palette and Italian craftsmanship. While the fabric's pattern exudes sophistication, the boiled wool is unexpectedly coarse and itchy, and the lack of lining reduces comfort. For a more luxurious and comfortable option, I found the Herno Houndstooth Wool Blend Topcoat, though pricier, to be a better investment. This Billy Reid coat may appeal to style purists but sacrifices wearability.
