Lite Hearted Denim Shorts

These shorts are so cute! I was afraid they'd be too short, but they're surprisingly not. They are shorter than what I would normally wear (I'm 45 so booty shorts aren't for me anymore), but they're loose enough where I don't feel uncomfortable. I am between a size 6-8 and I ordered a size 29 to have some wiggle room. The rise is low to mid, which I prefer over all of the high waisted jeans/shorts. If I had ordered these sooner, I would probably order other colors, but I got a great deal. Can't wait for summer!

I ordered the dark denim in what I thought would be a button fly style, but I received the lace up front shorts. They seem like a medium wash and they do not have the holes pre-worn in them like some of the pictures show. The listing shows the acid wash as being the only one with a lace up front. I initially cringed when I opened them, but I actually liked them when I tried them on, so I'll keep them. Comfortable and have just enough stretch to pull over my butt while still fitting my waist nicely. I ordered a 26, which usually translates to a size 2. I gained a little weight and I think I'm a size 4 right now. I realized my error after they had already shipped and anticipated having to exchange them, but I tried them on anyway and they acutally fit perfectly. So you *might* want to size down. You do not have to undo the laces to get them on/off. There is an interior button you can undo if you need a little more give and there is a flap of denim fabric behind the laces so you can't see through the laces- the button is attached to this flap on one side. I like that these are short enough to feel flirty and not frumpy, but my butt doesn't hang out of the bottom. They land just below the bottom of my butt. Very comfortable. I hope this is helpful. I'm trying to answer questions I usually have when looking at products that the listing may not answer.

Love these! Better than expected! They are soft and stretchy in a favorable way. The color and front lace up is adorable. They are short but my cheeks aren’t hanging out on the backside. Perfect shorts for summer and even over your swim bottoms. Wish they still had the black wash. Ordered size 29 and I’m usually a sz Medium or 6/8 in bottoms. The rise I’d say is between mid to low rise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute shorts a bit stretchy which is nice you can move in them, eat in them and wear them out day or night- I wore with white blouse and jewelry and turned it into rooftop bar OOTD jst after wearing them with a T-shirt all day running around doing errands. Billabong did great with these 10/10
