Spessa Leather Moto Jacket

I was so, SO excited to buy this jacket. I’ve been looking for what is pictured for years. Once it arrived I felt the leather was more of a tan color than cognac, and it felt and looked plastic-y. I personally did not feel it was worth the sale price, and definitely would not pay full price. Was very sad to return but it’s just not what is pictured. I didn’t even try it on.

So I should have studied the pictures a bit more. This is a suede leather jacket. I didn't expect that and thought it would be a more leather like jacket. So it is going back. Taupe color is true to the picture. The jacket runs true to size. I"m generally between a 12-14 and the large fit, but I felt it was tight across my chest (i'm a D cup) and arms. If I were going to keep it, I'd probably size up to feel a bi t more comfortable when I wanted to layer.

I thought overall this was a beautiful jacket. Well made, the leather was exceptional for the price. I passed on it because like most jackets lately this one's arms were way to long and with the zippers the tsk of shortening them is almost impossible. I thought the angle of the pockets were going to be a issue but surprisingly they weren't, very comfortable to put your hands in and keep them in. I believe the belt is removable, which is another plus. I was sorry to return it.

This jacket is just awesome, and stupendous value! Looks pretty much a depicted, maybe just a tad deeper, but not much...really, I wish it were a true cognac color, but it is gorgeous just the same. The leather is more like a fine suede; so treat like such: 4-ware of getting caught wearing it in any precipitation, of any sort! Super soft and supple. Zips move easily, though the front chest zip is deco, only. The side zip pockets are shallow. Belt nice and long, to fit most waistlines, even mine (XXL). Annoyance: the buckle clanks constantly when wearing the jacket open. Wishes: A deeper cognac shade; zip sleeves; maybe epaulets (like my Schott mc jacket has). Advise to snatch this up b4 fall/winter arrives, and your size is gone...as will be the sale!
