Nylon Kitchen Utensils - 5-Piece Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great set and it seems very durable. I have been using them non stop since receiving this set. I love the spoons and spatula, but have really been using the soup ladle a lot since we are in a colder time and I have been making a ton of soups. I love the durable handles also. I wil say that I’ve the course of time that I used them and ran them through the dishwasher I am sad to say the n brand name has worn off which is a bit of a bummer since these are said to be dishwasher safe and I haven’t even had them 6 months yet. That said however it isn’t a deterrent on me recommend this set or from me trying more from this brand in the future.

My old set was on its last legs, and given BergHOFF’s reputation for quality, I had high hopes. However, after putting them to the test, I’m feeling a little underwhelmed. The Pros: Design: They look sleek and modern on the counter. Flipping Power: I used the small spatula to make salmon, and it actually performed very well. It was precise and handled the delicate fish easily. The Cons: Durability Issues: The biggest downside is the strength of the handles. One of the first meals I made was a thick potato soup, and these tools just couldn't handle it. The handles bent significantly while stirring, and I was terrified I was going to snap them in half even though I was being very careful. Size: The handles are also quite short. If you are cooking in a deep stock pot (like I was for the soup), they cannot reach the bottom without your hand getting too close to the heat. Verdict:This set is "okay." If you mostly do light cooking (eggs, pancakes, small skillet meals), these will work fine. But if you are making hearty soups, stews, or using deep pots, you might find them too weak and short for the job.

This cooking utensil set is lightweight and aesthetically appealing; the black color makes it stain resistant. They are great to use on your nonstick cooking pans. The name of the brand at the end in white color gives it that nice touch. The handle feels nice to hold, and the ridges on the spoon and the indentation on the back give you a better grip to hold the spoon while cooking. They also have a hole on the end for hanging if you prefer. This is a basic tool set that is flexible but sturdy that I need for everyday use. This set includes a Skimmer, Slotted Turner, Slotted Spoon, Solid Spoon, and Ladle—all the utensils I need. They are easy to clean and well made. They have no problem handling heat; the spoon says it can handle up to 210°C. This is a great set at a reasonable price that I highly recommend. As you can see in my video, I put it to the test to see how sturdy it is, and it passes the test.
