Smart 20-Piece Knife Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most unique knife set I have ever seen. The quality is exactly what I expected from such high level knife set. I am impressed. They are well balanced, have a nice weight to them, and they are EXTREMELY SHARP. (Don’t play around with them). The Woden block is modular, detachable and swirls 360, like a lazy Susan. The steak knives piece is actually detachable and you can bring it to the table without having to carry the whole knife block with you. I thought this was very unique and interesting. Another peculiar thing that drew my attention is the small cutting board plus herb cutter. You can arrange and use all the pieces separately or together. It is definitely functional, well made, super sharp and in my opinion a great conversation starter piece. I have it set on my kitchen and I lost track of how many times guests have asked me about this set. If you are looking into a way to upgrade your kitchen smartly I would highly recommend this knife set!

I love the selection of knives, as well as the cutting board and herb mincer. All knives feel very durable. As far as the lazy Susan swivel underneath the block I’m honestly not a fan. I just don’t see a point to it. I’ve never said to myself “you know, I wish my knife block swiveled” it’s never been necessary for me and it makes the block itself feel unbalanced and wobbly. Another thing I dislike is how slanted it is compared to other knife blocks. It juts out very far. I really like a more upright block to be kept out of the way. My next dislike are the scissors. Why has everyone started using these backwards scissors? I dislike them so much. The set has a lot of bells & whistles for sure.
