Beautiful and cooks a mean roast
Fabulous Deep shade of purple but more importantly a hefty hunk of cast iron. Nothing skimpy here. Braised and roasted the most delicious beef roast and veggies. Nothing beats cast iron.

One pot wonder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the shape and color— it’s not a solid orange, but an ombré. It’s beautiful. The basting points on the lid are a nice feature, as well as this being good for practically all stove tops and ovens. The enamel finish is far from perfect — there was a defect in the enamel on the rim of the lid where it was coated. Luckily, it’s on the edge but also may also be prone to chipping. This is so easy to clean and maintain because it’s got an enamel coating on the inside. All I needed was some soap and water. I love using cast iron for the even heat and how versatile this is. I love the 5 qt because the sides are high, and I can make soups in this, bake breads, or fry. This is my kind of one pot cookery, from the oven or stove top to the table.

I’ve looked at numerous brands when it comes to Dutch ovens and this one is perfect if you’re wanting something high quality yet affordable. The color and enamel finish is just gorgeous, and it feels very sturdy and well-made. Easy to clean and heats up evenly. The oval shape fits well on the stove if you have a large single burner. It’s the perfect size for roasting a small chicken.

No sticking, effective and elegant

It’s effective and easy to clean. Non sticking. Durable. Has some weight to it. Hasn’t shown any signs of cracking. And assembly required.
