Women's CozyChic Ultra Lite^® Square Neck Tank

This tank is a piece I have been hoping Barefoot Dreams would make. I have numerous cardigans and jackets from this brand, and the idea of a tank, with that Cozy Chic Ultra Lite hand was too much to resist. I am 5'5" and typically wear a Large in this brand. So I ordered that first. Wow! What a crazy fit! First of all the Ultra Lite is stretchier than the Lite. So, when I tried this on, I was stunned by the amount of stretch in it. It was like holding and folding taffy. That might not have been so bad, but this top has freakishly long straps. Add that to the fact that it is cut very low, and I would have been looking at my nipples without a bra. So I went back to try the Medium. Still too stretchy, but I could get the straps to stay in place. However, now the bottom was snug. They put a band around it, instead of just continuing the knit all the way down the body, so it isn't forgiving. You can pull it down, but you'd be tugging at it all day. And from the back it looks a crumpled mess as it rides up. If you want to see what that looks like, a shopping network has video of this top. And it is riding up on the 5'8" model who is wearing a Size small. If you are very tall, have a very long torso, and are built straight up and down, you might be able to love this. But for the rest of us, this piece will never work. I love Barefoot Dreams when they get it right. I hope they fix this piece so I can wear it some day. I could use multiples in both the sea salt and stone.
