Antonia Lace Trim Long Sleeve Cotton & Linen Minidress

I usually wear a 6 or an 8 in a dress. The sizing advice said “if between sizes order next size up”. Unsure of how this dress would fit I ordered a 6,8, and 10. The size on the tags read a number and a letter equivalent: fyi, a size 10 is an XL, a size 8 is a L, and a size 6 is a M. I tried the 6/M first and was swimming in it both in the shoulders and the overall fit was huge. I understand the dress was meant to be a loose fit, but I have a very large chest and narrower shoulders and the fit was just like a square bag and draped too far off my shoulders like a drop shoulder shirt would. Huge. Order for your shoulder size is my recommendation and the dress will still be large around your midsection. I bought a size 4 which will be here soon, and I hoping that works because it’s a great blue. I don’t wear a size four in anything. The color is more saturated and less pastel in person than the online photos, but still a “baby blue”. They used to call this color “light cornflower blue”.
