Greta Belted Water Resistant Twill Trench Coat

I’ve been shopping online for weeks, both at Nordstrom and other stores, for a good quality, well-fitting rain coat. Tried all the mid- price brands. All were too big or too small. All went back. Unfortunately, this one is as well. It’s a beautiful coat…well made, great color ( many trenches are a golden tan). But, the sizing is off. I usually size up with Barbour…I take a US 12 or 14..which translates to a British 16 or 18. Ordered this in a 14…it is HUGE!!!!! Returning it. Since it’s sold out, I can’t order the smaller size from Nordstrom. However, as info, I was able to order the 12 from another store (Bloom****). That fits like a glove. I am 5’9”, 185lbs ( not flabby), and usually wear a 12 or L in most of my clothes.

After reading the reviews of saying this Trench runs big, I chose to size up from my true size of 6 to a size 8. I love my coats oversized and I made the right choice with this Trench, it fits perfect for layering or not. Beautifully designed, top quality fabric and lining! This will be the perfect travel Trench on my London visits!

Beautiful coat that I wore during my last visit to Japan. Perfect for the weather (40-50's with some rain) Great for layering, water resistant and excellent color. The overall look is classic and chic, will have this coat for years to come. It is a bit over sized, but great if you want to wear a thicker sweater underneath or layer up in the spring. Belt is long, so you will need to creatively knot it as to not leave it hanging.
