Francesca Quilted Hooded Puffer Coat with Faux Fur Trim

I love this jacket so much. I tried it on in December and I’m glad I waited to buy it on sale. The only thing that held me back from paying full price is the shape. It’s a little snug across my chest (38 C/D) and I would prefer for the bottom to be more tapered and not flare out. I slightly look like a Christmas tree- but the gorgeous color of the fur and olive green, paired with how WARM AND COMFY it is, outweigh the negatives. I can’t wait to wear this for many frigid Chicago winters to come. I can tell it is a very well made high quality coat.

This is my third Barbour coat over the last few years. This is another winner. The weight is perfect. This is comfortable to wear in the car while driving, daily winter walks. I don’t feel or look like I’m a puffed marshmallow. I like the longer length, hood with detachable attractive faux fur, and nice closure around the neck for added warmth. I am going to need to get the arms shortened about 1/2-1 inch. The pockets are deep and warm. The waist can be tightened to give an attractive look. I tried a size 8 and 6. The 6, my usual size, is a perfect fit.
