Made in Japan not Italy
The description says made in Italy but the sunglasses actually say Japan. The sunglasses do not sit snug around the nose bride but they do provide great eye coverage. The hinges squeak which I don’t like. And despite some reviewers saying the sunglasses fit snug, I have a smaller head and when I look down the sunglasses do slip off slightly.

Statement Piece but Uncomfortable
I love the look of these sunglasses, they very much give the statement “Balenciaga” look which I love and provide excellent coverage but they are uncomfortable on the sides of my head and to put on. I have a round-ish face, but even on my slim-faced partner they were a tight fit on his temples.

I’m extremely satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship, the substantial weight to the frames and lens is what one should expect from designer eyewear. I like the monochromatic logo on the left arm, it’s subtle and discreet, adds to the aesthetic that Demna has envisioned for the house!
