Wow! Exceeded My Expectations
This was the first time I purchased a hairstyling tool from Nordstrom Rack and I was especially concerned about the item being sold as final sale. However, I am so glad I did make the purchase. I wanted to purchase this flat iron for some time, but the $109 price tag at other retailers, for what I considered to be a specialty flat iron dissuaded me. So, When I saw the Babyliss PRO Studio Design Series RootReacher Flat Iron priced at $49 I decided to purchase it.
This is the Leandro Limited Edition which was a collaboration between Conair and Babyliss Pro which also includes a silicone heat mat and a heat protection glove. In regards to performance, the iron heats up very quickly and the unique teardrop design allows you to get very close to your roots without burning your scalp. This is definitely a game-changer for me for those occasions I silk press my 3C hair. Please note there is a little bit of a learning curve and may seem a bit awkward to use initially, yet in spite of that it does get the job done.
By the way Leandro was the founder of Conair and this collaboration was a nod to his legacy.
