Hooded Maxi Rain Anorak

The style of the jacket is great, but if you’re ordering for function - i.e. as a raincoat, skip this one. The fit, color and shape are all lovely and complement different body types (it can be cinched at the waist). However, once the jacket is wet, water goes through the entire jacket and soaks your clothes (both in moderate and heavy rain).

I bought the XS on sale for <$100 and heeded the advice of another reviewer who recommended sizing down due to the vanity sizing being very generous. They were right: SIZE DOWN! The XS is loose and big for me. Nonetheless, it still looks lovely and I like the construction quality, so I kept it. It did not, though, keep me dry in Ireland where I was under steady rain at a national park for 2 hours. I was soaked through. This coat did keep me dry for quick errands around the city. It keeps you dry in light rain in the transition season. For reference I have a straight body build, 34 B/C cup bra, weigh 112 lbs, 5' 2", waist 26", hips 35".

The jacket fits wonderfully! The camel color is beautiful in person and the quality is worth the price for me. For reference, I am broad shouldered so I sometimes worry about the arm length in jackets- not an issue here and I’m so happy! Measurements are 36D bra size, 31 waist. I have a big butt and hips as well. I just love this Trench. Stylish and comfortable, you should absolutely buy it!
