High Waist Wide Leg Pants

Def not for curvy women. These pants run true to size in the waist but are very wide (I was expecting added width). That being said, they are not flattering at all for my body type. I bought both size 8 & 10 snd both looked ridiculous on my body type. I think these look great on people with similar body types to the model. For reference, my measurements are: waist - 29/30; hips - 45in.

Okay I thought these trousers were the black version of a pair of camel trousers I purchased a few months ago so I was pleasantly surprised when I put them on. The side pleating is funky and unexpected and super flattering. The stripe down the side sort of peek a boos from between the pleats when I walk. They flow and lay really well. I like the flap pockets, they add a little volume to my derrière. They are very long, so I may hem them or I’ll only be able to wear them with a 1.5-2.0 inch platform (I don’t wear heels). I have a 30 inch waist and probably could have gone down to an 8. I think this pair of trousers might be my favorite right now.
