Double Breasted Faux Leather Blazer

Because I found this in the store, I was able to try on different sizes for comparison. I'm tall and thin: 5'7, 130 lbs., long waisted, long arms, flat chested. The difference between the S and M is fairly substantial. I like things fitted, but the S was just too snug. Medium is perfect--just as fitted as the smaller size, but with room to move. The back is also fitted and very feminine. I like the buttons much better in person. In the photo, they look more brass colored and shinier. In person, they are more of a brushed nickel, Six of these buttons also run down each side of the sleeve, from the wrist to the elbow. For me, it's the buttons that make the jacket because they add a slight military flair and are an accessory in their own right. When adding earrings or a belt, pick wisely so they don't compete with this statement jacket. It looks great with denim, dressier pants, or a long, fitted skirt with a slit up the side. As the other reviewers said -- and I agree -- it's a great quality of faux leather. It looks like baby-soft Italian leather. The tag says it's machine washable. I haven't washed it yet, but will hang it up in my bathroom and run the shower to help steam out the packaging wrinkles. I live in Arizona, so this weight and style of jacket is perfect for our mild winters.

Just like the other reviewer, this was a great purchase! I too, am not a fan of faux leather but this was pretty amazing! I was able to try the bone color in the store and fell in love with the fit and look. Can be dressed up or down - love the cropped fit and the gold buttons jazzes it up a bit. It's a good piece to have.

Although I did not keep this - (I was looking for an outerwear jacket and this definitely looks like what they call it, a blazer) - it was hard for me to return! It is a very nice quality of faux leather and the styling and fit are perfect. I also liked the buttons better in person - they are a burnished silver on the black version vs. gold.
