Upper: Engineered knit stretches to move naturally with your foot. Breathable construction provides essential ventilation.

ASICS Random Shoe Sizing
I wear a size 9-9 1/2 shoe in every other brand but a 10 1-2 in ASICS Gel Kayanos. I ordered 2 pair, one from Nordstrom and one from elsewhere. The Nordstrom pair is at least a half size too small and maybe a full size. The other fits perfectly. Both are 10 1/2’s. Not sure why this is the case with ASICS. Hoping Nordstrom will replace them even though I’ve run in them a couple times.

Great Asics Gel-Kayano generation
These shoes are comfortable. Have a wide toebox, good shock absorbing cushion in the heel. I have bought several Asics for walking and work. This is my third Kayano. They are easy to wipe clean.

Kayano not for me
The comfort factor wasn’t there. It was a very odd fit that didn’t give the usual support I expect for Asics. I think it tried to be a “cloud” shoe, so it’s light but needs contouring or something to help provide that support.

So comfy!
I tend to use these types of shoes for many types of classes at the gym. These have been great! I have worn ASICS for years, but the sole of this shoe was definitely a little wider than my others. More on par with Hoka. These have worked well for jumping, weights, body combat. Even though they are a running shoe, I am not a runner, so I cannot attest to how they are for a run:)
