Great Ankle Support
ASICS have long been my favorite athletic shoes. I’m nearly 70 years old now, and, due to an injury many decades ago, I have chronic problems in my left ankle. Surgical correction has been deemed a complicated “process”, best avoided because the outcome may be even worse. I wear a custom brace for daily workouts and walking. The brace has improved my ankle to where hightop hiking shoes work well with a lighter brace. When I looked for hightop athletic shoes to try, I found the ASICS EX89 and immediately ordered it. The shoe is the most comfortable I have worn in years, immediately reducing my pain to zero! I do not even use a light brace inside the shoe. I truly love these shoes! If I had any suggestion for improvement, it would be for them to be lighter weight, but not at the expense of ankle support. These shoes are an excellent product!
