Disappointed with the quality
I wanted to love these boots. I gave them as gift to family. Unfortunately its only been used for a couple of months and the toe area is already separating from the sole.

Comfortable and durable boot
I generally wear Sport Strattens or Heritage Ropers. I prefer the look and comfort of a round toe. The Ridgeback looks similar so I decided to give them a try. The fit is very close to the Stattens, but I found the Ridgeback to be tighter through the instep. I can wear Stattens right out of the box, but the Ridgeback requires a little more break-in. The Ridgeback has more of a 'canvas' lining instead of the mesh, and also a much thicker feeling leather. Color is a very dark brown...I used Bick4 conditioner and the color stayed the same. Overall a really nice boot and looks like it will be very durable. Can't go wrong with this boot.
