Harper Faux Fur Lined Boot

For people who may not know that there is a difference between water resistant and waterproof. Waterproof, your feet shouldn’t get wet at all, even if walk through a puddle but probably better not to because your feet will feel colder. Water resistant means that the boot will for the most part keep your foot dry, like if there is a light rain or some snow but it’s not guaranteed that your foot will remain dry if you go through a puddle or are walking in high snow. You may want to spray a water resistant boot but read the instructions on both the boot and spray to make sure that you can use it. It is kind of a tricky way with words to make people think the boot is waterproof by using resistant. In regards to why this boot said it’s only guaranteed water resistance for 6 months, it’s probably the time frame that the material used to make them water resistant starts to wear off. It happens a lot with ski jackets, etc. That is why you are better off spit cleaning then putting in the washer or submerging the entire item in water and soap to clean it. Just hope this helps anyone who may not of been aware that there is a difference in meanings or that these words are used and many people use them interchangeably.

Just got the boots in the mail today. I wear a size 10 but I ordered a size 11 because of what I reviews about this brand on other boots. I am just a little concerned that the label says they are guaranteed waterproof for the first 6 months after purchase... odd but ok. I wish there were additional reviews for the boot out the. Interesting that the side 3 buttons do unsnap.
