Walking on Clouds!
Wow. My husband (who has run 8 marathons) loves these shoes. I finally got some for myself - just for long walks with my baby girl. They feel amazing - lightweight yet feel great on, hugging my feet and giving my toes just enough wiggle room. Run TTS! Highly recommend.

Fell apart first time
The first time I wore these was while playing dodgeball. Less than an hour in the bottom padding on them ripped off. I was barely jogging around the gym so no crazy movement or anything was happening. I returned them and am hoping to get another pair that hopefully doesn't fall apart after one wearing.

Great shoes
I wanted to try a brand that was more of a barefoot minimalist type of shoe to correct my arch and these are amazing. Takes a bit to get used to but overall i love the feel of these compared to nike/adidas. These also feel better and i can do longer walks comfortably.

Zero bunion pain
Because the heel is not higher, it does not put added pressure on your bunion. The shoe also allows your toes to lie straight. I haven’t had bunion pain since I discovered these shoes last fall.
The downside is, with everyday wear, I end up replacing this shoe about every three months, however, I do walk about 5 miles a day. I love the super-cushion feel, (like a hoka), but it doesn’t last long.
This shoe is superior to the new rivera 2 in many ways, so I recommend getting these while they are still available.

Shoe is a miss for me
These are my 6th pair of Altra's and my first disappointment. The material feels lower quality including the mesh upper and all aspects of the sole. I believe this shoe is designed to be a snugger fit, which is fine since I have a narrow foot. However, I've come to appreciate the wider toe box from this brand. This shoe almost feels like the cheaply constructed brand that shall remain nameless (think swoosh). Also, not sure why, but when I run in this show my left knee bothers me a bit. Doesn't happen with any other shoes in my rotation right now.

Great Shoe
I have flat feet! Most shoes pinch my toes or rub my toes together to form callous! The Altra Women Rivera don't! I have bought three pairs and have not been disappointed!
