I will only buy these going forward!
Best shoes ever. I have super wide feet-these shoes were great from the start. On recent trip to Italy, wore these daily, walking for miles and miles each day. They were supportive and comfortable.

Hole in toe box
I absolutely loved these and found very comfortable. Sadly, I will not be purchasing again. After five months with limited use, the toe area formed a hole on one of the sneakers. These were not used for running. It was merely walking. As I've read other reviews, this appears to be a common problem with this particular shoe. Given the cost of the shoe, it is not worth the money to have to replace them in a short period of time .

These shoes were made for walking....El Camino
I just returned from walking the Camino Frances in Spain with my 82 year old dad. I walked in my Altra Loan Peak 7 trail runners were on my feet for all 779km (He wore Altra's too). I'm a true fan of these shoes. I'll be buying my new pair soon!!!!

These are not as good as my old altras!
Toe box is different. Shoe laces dig into top of foot. Old style fit my feet better.

Best shoes ever
I purchased a pair of these previously , on the recommendation of a member. No more issues with my Achilles tendon, which I have had issues with forever. Figured it wouldn't hurt to have a backup.

I love how they feel when I first put them on
When I first put these shoes on I thought I had found a soul mate. Unfortunately though they seem to change how I move my feet and I have fallen twice with them on. I hike - a lot - and never even stumble let alone fall but since I've started wearing these shoes I have stumbled many time of which two of those stumbles have resulted in falls. I'm heartbroken because I love them so much but they somehow change how I move my feet I guess. I had to return them.

Only walking shoe in my closet!!
I wear these shoes for everyday walking as well as hiking. The best shoe all around. Do wish they would bring the dark blue color back.
