Myrtle Flare Pants

These pants are really cute, but run really large and really long. For reference, I am 5'6", 145, and typically wear a size 6 or 8 in jeans (closer to 8 these days). I rated these a 3 star primarily because the sizing is way off. Style: Love the style! The material is a black satin-like material that could easily be dressed up or down. There are two back pockets that are purely decorative. The front has extra buttons that look decorative but I believe they are adjustable-waist buttons giving you the option to fasten them inwards to cinch the waist for a tighter fit (see photo). Size: I ordered these pants in a size 4 because that was the only size available. I hoped a 4 would fit since another reviewer mentioned they run large. Surprisingly, these run REALLY large and the size 4 is far too baggy to keep. I immediately ordered a size 2 and will return this pair. The style is flare and there is plenty of leg/thigh room. They are incredibly long and I'll either need to get them hemmed or pair them with heels. I would not wear them with flats - they'd drag on the floor. Material: The material is really lightweight and the pants are unlined. I am curious how the material will hold up since I've had shirts made out of similar material that snagged easily. That's a TBD. If you can find a size that fits, they are definitely worth it!
