Haithe Check Coat

I normally wear a women’s size 10 or 12 and I was able to fit into the size 6, but the shoulders were way too tight and I couldn’t move. I would have had to wear a really thin shirt underneath which is not really practical for winters and layering. I decided to size up and try the size 8, which fit better in the shoulders, but the shoulders were sticking out and looked terrible. The waist was way too big and it would have needed to be altered which would have been expensive. I’m devastated because I love the pattern and the idea of this coat. The wool blend was also extremely itchy around the neck and just from trying it on in my living room and sitting in it for a few minutes, I decided it needed to be returned. Such a bummer because the markdown price was great.

So bummed out because I really wanted to love this. It is a beautiful coat but it is so oversized to the point it looks ridiculous! I got the size 2 and I was swimming in it and the shoulders are padded so you just look massive in it. Regretfully returned due to the oversized look. I am a fan of oversized, but this is comical, a shame because the pattern and material are beautiful.
