Celia Sweater & Slipdress Set

Beautiful and stylish pink sweater and slip dress. The pleating of the skirt is so flattering, and the sweater is so comfortable and soft. Great for professional wear or a night out. I’m normally a small in tops and a medium in pants/most dresses. I went with a size medium and the sweater fits great.

This modified slip dress with a cropped sweater is perfect for someone like me who has a short torso/hourglass figure. I love the concept of a slip dress but the majority of them are cut on the bias and are not at all flattering or comfortable for my body type. The dress can be worn by itself, with its accompanying sweater or with a different top to vary the look and style. I was curious to see how the pleats in the skirt responded after multiple wearings but they seem to hold their shape very well. However, I would be hesitant to travel with this dress because of the pleating in the dress but overall I am very pleased with this garment.

I bought this dress for an upcoming trip, based on previous reviews I sized up. I love the dress, unfortunately the large is too big, should have ordered my usual medium. For reference, I’m 5’4”, 145. Especially disappointed as only small is left in stock. Will see if I can have alterations done in store to make it work.

So I do love this dress but have to say I’m slightly disappointed for the price. First off, I’m 5’5” 125lbs, 34C. I usually wear a small so I bought this in a small, but the fit is a bit too snug. It fits but to get the look as shown on the model I’d def have to size up to a medium. In addition to that the whole dress is completely unlined so it’s borderline see thru. The length is good though- normally at my height things run way longer than shown on the model but I’d say the length is true to pictured there. The color has a pink hue to it in person as opposed to an actual ecru or cream color. Also the sweater is short. To get the length shown on the model you’d have to size up. While it does fit, It just didn’t look so great more fitted and definitely needs the more loose look to it.
