Made from naturally moisture-wicking merino wool, this water-repellent knit shoe is fitted with responsive SweetFoam® cushioning to keep you dry and moving in comfort.

- The SweetFoam™ midsole is made with sugarcane-based EVA, a carbon-negative alternative to EVA foam derived from petroleum. The sugarcane is sourced from southern Brazil, where it relies on rainwater, not irrigation. It’s sourced according to rigorous standards jointly developed by Proforest and Braskem, and the farms are audited by a third party. AllBirds is allowing its Carbon Footprint tools to be open source rather than proprietary, so it can make a difference in the shoe industry as a whole

Horrible!
Most uncomfortable shoes I’d ever purchased. I also purchased socks and again, simply bad. They don’t stay on my feet. I was so excited for this brand given the message they represent, but unfortunately I was deeply disappointed.

Durable but seriously flawed
The shoe itself cannot be put on without a shoe horn or something to help slip your foot into the shoe. What's worse is that the material inside piles the more you wear the show, meaning that you get a bunch of tiny balls of fabric just stuck all around the inside of the shoe because of the inside material. The shoe laces are difficult to tie because the shoe is SO stiff and fatter than the laces can handle. I've had to tie a knot in my laces as the only way to keep them tied.
The shoe itself is really nice, comfy, and feel durable, but the cons stopped me from purchasing another pair. I've been wearing them for a few months regularly, and i still need a shoe horn to put them on. 3/5
