- The SweetFoam™ midsole is made with sugarcane-based EVA, a carbon-negative alternative to EVA foam derived from petroleum. The sugarcane is sourced from southern Brazil, where it relies on rainwater, not irrigation. It’s sourced according to rigorous standards jointly developed by Proforest and Braskem, and the farms are audited by a third party. AllBirds is allowing its Carbon Footprint tools to be open source rather than proprietary, so it can make a difference in the shoe industry as a whole

An environmentally conscious nurse
I love them. As a nurse I was hesitant to buy allbirds because my patients depend on me and I depend on comfortable shoes. They are extremely comfortable and an ethical buy which is a win win. I did have to loosen the ties and retie them but other than that amazing!

My 2nd Pair - Love these Shoes!
I wore out my first pair in light gray, so now I have the dark gray Courier. I also bought two other pairs on the ReRun website, so now I am fully stocked for a while. Comfortable from the first steps.
