Tweed Miniskirt

It arrived and I tried it on and it runs small (ordered based on size chart) - and it’s a skort!! I didn’t see that distinction in the title “mini skirt” nor did I see it in the description or reviews. The lining is what makes the shorts and if you have a larger butt, these shorts pull on the skirt’s outer layer and looks odd. The lining does not go from waistband to hem, and the fabric is itchy against the skin (really wish it was lined at the waist band). Contemplating returning it or just getting alterations done to do away with the skort entirely and have a normal lining put in 5’8” size 10-12 depending on brand; larger butt smaller waist

Two stars for shimmer in the black tweed. I really like the look of the skirt. The a-line cut is perfect but unfortunately the smallest size just is too large. The lining is a cheap like skort? Where is that in the description? The shimmer also makes the waist itchy. Huge no go for me. Sad. Price was good for a cute skirt.

The fit on this skirt is amazing! There is a bit of stretch in the waistband so it sits in your hips really well. The only thing that I wasn’t too thrilled about was the color. From the pictures, I thought there was a bit of white or gray, but it’s actually a shimmery silver, which I think looks a little cheap. Overall, a great skirt!
