Delora Stripe Strapless Midi Dress

This is such a beautiful dress. The material is soft and lightweight and the overall fit was perfect - even the length which fell just above the ankle on me. Unfortunately I could not get past the plastic lining on the top of the dress that would not keep from rolling over. Fashion tape may help with this, however when I am on vacation I don't want to be bothered with taping my dress and concerned if its going to roll down. Also the dress is hard to zip up and down without assistance. And the dress is now on sale elsewhere.

I loved the dress when I tried it on. It fit great and was very flattering. However, once I started moving around, the inside liner that hits about mid thigh started inching up toward my waist. The rubber lining at the top of the dress also kept flipping inside out and I was constantly adjusting. I'm disappointed it had to go back.

This dress design and the colors are so beautiful, and it hugs your body wonderfully, but it is very very hard to justify a $400 price tag for this. The material is extremely basic - think jersey/lycra. I think it could be priced at half the price it currently is and they’d still profit generously off of it. So, I’m unsure where I stand! I would size up!

I’m sometimes a 4, sometimes a 6 but purchased this in a 6 because I have a bigger chest. This dress looks so good on- much better than I expected. Colors are beautiful and it’s very comfortable. I highly recommend! Great job Alice + Olivia - I will need to hem- but I did wear it once with platforms because it looked so good when I got it, I immediately wanted to wear it!
