Cora Floral & Butterfly Print Voluminous Tiered Maxi Dress

I received the dress and the moment I opened the box, the smell of the perfume was so powerful. I thought maybe someone wore the dress and the perfume clung so I looked for the tag and there was a tag so I thought maybe someone just tried it on. But when I examined the tag, I saw that was torn and then just attached to the dress. There were creases in the midline/waist of the dress that happen when a garment is worn for some time and there was multiple snags in the fabric caused by a bracelet/jewelry so it’s very obvious someone bought the dress, wore it and returned it. And the store without checking the garment shipped it to me. When I called customer service to report the incident, they just said we’re sorry you can return the dress and get a full refund. They did not offer any compensation or discount. They only offered expedited shipping on my next order.

As other reviewers have noted, the sizing is all off. Super super long (which is normal for A+O), but with this fabric, you can’t hem it without lopping off a whole row of the dress. The top is a totally different size than the bottom. And it’s made of a cheap cotton, so as soon as you wash it, the ruffles are going to curl up.

This review has nothing to do with the quality or design of this dress. I have received this dress, and I didn’t wear it right away. Today I did… Big mistake. The dress had the security tag attached. I didn’t realize till late that I was marching at home goods with a security tag for everyone to see. The most embarrassing moment when I have seen the tag. I have ordered the dress online and the closest store is one hour and a half away. I am upset and disappointed.

I love this dress, but it wasn't right for me. Alice & Olivia usually runs small on me, so I ordered my usual size and one size up. The overall size was okay, but the waist was too small. The larger size had the same small waist but too much fabric overall; therefore, I am returning. I was looking forward to wearing it in Mexico. I'm 5'9" 138 lbs and I ordered the M and L. I usually need to order up for my chest, but this dress is large in the chest, small in the waist, and very long. It fit my length perfectly.
