Mock Neck Long Sleeve Satin Midi Dress

I am not sure why this dress is not getting much love! It does run small I am normally a size 8/10 but ordered the size 10 after reading reviews and I am glad I did! It fits perfectly! This dress is gorgeous! The silk is so soft! Perfect for my holiday night in SF! I am 5’7 with a 34 D chest 30 inch waist for reference!

This dress was very pretty, but I ordered a size up from my normal size (I occasionally wear a size smaller) and I literally could not even zip it up. The fabric has no stretch since it's satin and the chest and arms were absurdly tight. Even if you had a very small chest, I don't think the arms had enough flexibility to let you move around at all - the stitching was just very odd and tight. Really sad because otherwise the dress seemed nice.

This is a very beautiful fabric that flows nicely. For some they may have to go up a size. In my case after re-ordering in a larger size (size 2 up to size 4), because my arms stood out to the side like a banner, I realized it was the arm band. The lower band is too small and does not allow sleeve to fit under arm properly unless your lower arm is the size of "a pencil". Larger size was too large elsewhere. Someone forgot to add a gusset or dolman sleeve for proper fitting! I am keeping the original size because the dress is a classic keeper since animal print is not overwhelming and justs hints to a nice design. In turn, I will/am doing minor tailoring to enlarge the lower band width only .... It fits now

Based of the previous reviews, I sized up to a size 6. I love the fit and the style of the dress. I am 5’4 and the dress hits as a midi. I will have it hemmed to be knee length so that I do not look as short. I’m pairing it with platform sandals and cute sheer polka dot socks for a conservative and edgy look.
