Mikayla Wrap Maxi Dress

The material as absolutely beautiful, but the fit was just not there. It’s a true wrap dress and is “secured” by two snap buttons. I say “secured” because if I took a deep breath, they unsnapped because it was very tight around the ribs/waist. It hit me right at the rib cage. I’m ~5’9 and have a long torso. The bust was also extremely large and baggy. I typically wear a size 10 (size purchased) and am a 34D. It was so loose and big, it could not even be pinned. I wanted to love this, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me

Don’t buy any dresses from ALEXIA ADMOR without trying them on. They look beautiful online. The material is good, but the proportions are consistently out of whack. I have 3 pretty wrap dresses that are sized up as an 8, and I usually wear 6. They either don’t come close to reaching the snaps or the tiny snaps don’t hold at all, while the rest of the dress is little too baggy. I just realized they are all ALEXIA ADMOR. I thought I could loose a few pounds and fit into the dresses. Then I realized that the snaps aren’t functional at all. One dress, is a Kimono wrap dress, but it only fits as a robe. The torso dimensions seem smaller than XS buts it’s a size 8. The styles look great online, but the fit is a disaster.

Dang it I really wanted to love this dress. I agree with prior review that the fit is off. I'm 5'7", ordered size 8 (which has worked before in this brand). Very tight across rib cage, hard to breathe. Dont think next size up would work bc the top is very drapey. Perhaps if I had a trimmer mid section. No snap or closure at cleavage. This works for a dramatic look, but the dress is satin, so I think pinning it would show or pull. Also the elastic at arm opening feels tight. Height is ok for for me if wearing heels. 3 stars bc the dress is gorgeous and glamorous. The fabric feels luxurious and has a 40s retro elegance. I could imagine wearing this to a party or wedding. Sadly I will have to return it.

It's beautiful. Not a true wrap, 2 hidden snaps hold it together at the waist, about an 8 inch crossover, with a belt on the outside. I'm wearing it with a white long cami dress/ slip under, covers the open bust (don't like showing cleavage) and the slip covers the dress as it opens when you walk. That sound like it's a problem, but not for me! The slip works great, no worries of pinning or extra snaps associated with wrap styles. It's a glam dress, I have fabulous emerald green shoes to match, really fun to wear. I'm 5'6", 162lbs wearing a 14. Only reason not 5 stars is no pockets!

I had to find a very last minute dress and was lucky to come across this beauty. The fit was beautiful. As mentioned in other reviews it’s not a true wrap because there are two small snaps to hold the dress in place. However, I didn’t have any issues with the dress through dancing and moving around a lot all night throughout the wedding I wore it at. I received many compliments and felt beautiful in it. My only complaint was that the top part of the dress was a bit loose in the chest area. I have to tape it down with fashion tape so I didn’t flash everyone all night. Overall it’s a stunning dress that’s comfortable and worth the price.
