Unconventional fabric
It’s a pretty color and fits nicely, but this is not a conventional fabric; it’s thick and requires no hem (like fleece), and if you require the dress shortened you’ll need a tailor that’s good with the scissors. I’d be concerned of wrinkling after sitting as this dress is narrow

I have purchased three dresses of this style/maker for different occasions because they look great on, feel extremely comfortable, and are well made. The colors are rich and true to the pictures (I bought them online). The cuts are complimentary to the size. I managed my expectations on a dress for a wedding, sight unseen, but this dress fit perfectly. I was worried on the length as most are too long and I worried about having to tailor, I’m about 5’5”, and everything seems too long, not this dress. I just need kitten heels. It’s comfy, doesn’t feel “taffeta” , stretches wear it needs to stretch.
