Plissé Drip Coffee Maker

The coffee maker works good. It has a triangle drip filter which I didn't know. Whoever made this very much intended for it to be a single-person/personal coffee maker, because after 30 minutes the hot-plate automatically turns off and there's no way to heat up any remaining coffee after 30 minutes. I read every word in the manual and pressed every combination of buttons to no avail. It makes a beeping noise after it detects there's no water left to brew, so at least you get a heads up for the 30 minute countdown. The built-in wire mesh triangle filter is not good with coarse coffee grounds, and does much better with fine coffee grounds. Also, on the top around the silver circle is where exhaust water vapor shoots out. Didn't see a warning anywhere and burnt my hand slightly. The overall quality of it is pretty good, not light or flimsy. The base is slip resistant. The lid does not come off of the pot or at least I couldn't get it off to clean it easier. The cup button allows you to brew only 4 cups even if there's more than that in the reservoir. The aroma button supposedly makes more of a coffee smell (I couldn't really tell) but moreover is a slow-brew option. It's a neat little coffee maker, I wouldn't spend more than a hundred dollars on it but I'd say I'm satisfied.
