Riley High Waist Straight Leg Organic Cotton Blend Crop Jeans

When I tried on these jeans and viewed them from the front, they fit beautifully and created a fabulous slim fitting line. Then , when I turned around and looked at the back, I was horrified. The fit is very baggy around the backside and makes one appear to have a saggy bottom. To further emphasize the hideous fit on the derrière, the pockets are placed at the bottom of the derrière so that the fit creates even more of a sagging effect. That’s why I said this Jean is like two jeans in one. I returned them because of the fit on the derrière.

I wanted to love these, the denim has a very nice weight. But I don’t care for the way it kicks out slightly at the bottom, looks goofy. Would have been better tapered or straight. Guess I could have them tailored, not sure I like them that much. Size 24 fit 24/25 waist and 36 hip. My inseam is 28, they fit slightly shorter than that.

First impression on these jeans was great! The color was a nice solid, slightly off-black color. It doesn't have any weird streaks or mottling. The second great thing was the feel. It's a nice soft thick jean. I only like thicker types of jean, i really dislike the jeans that are super thin or super stretchy - bc they shouldn't be considered jeans - if you are looking for that - you might as well just buy jeggings. it also had a great - broken-in feel. So Im already excited to try these one. I am 5ft and 107 so i bought my regular size 25. The length was PERFECT, for the first time I don't have to have pants altered. it went right at bottom of my ankle. Also - these are a true slim straight leg. it's not baggy loose straight fit. (in my opinion, only super skinny model-size bodies look good in a straight fit. the rest of the peasants will not look good with baggyy legs style, it will only make us look fat) I am SO freakin happy at this point but my happy story was not to be. I turned around and my face fell, matching the droopiness of my butt. I have a small, flat-ish butt but this jeans made it look worse that it is. The back pocket is super big and long, the bottom of the pocket was like 2-3 inches past the bottom of my butt. and the top of the jean (of the back) has a bit of V and that made it worse. So thats why i gave it a 4 - and not lower bc the jeans themselves are GREAT but i think it's not flattering for people like me - thin, not-curvy, flatter booty gals. If you have a totally different body shape than me - try these out - they are really nice. last FYI you should know is that - these are button fly- if that matters to you.
