Updated from previous versions with a redesigned rocker and lighter frame, this breathable running shoe will have you prepared for the most rugged of trails.

Perfect for: Runners looking for a rugged and technical trail shoe that outperforms in quality, comfort and fit.

Upper: Breathable engineered mesh allows ventilation of excess heat for cooling comfort, and the SBR/mesh collar and tongue offer low water absorption and enhanced stretch properties for improved fit. It also has a protective and abrasion resistant toe cap for extra durability.

Midsole Drop: 6mm. Classified as a mid-drop measurement, it pushes your foot forward to support a more natural mid/forefoot strike.

Lower: The Vibram® traction lugs are designed to increase traction and shed debris, while the lightweight FloatPro™ Foam midsole features a rock plate for extra protection.

Perfect for me
These are the most comfortable out of the box I ever had from Merrill. They are great hiking shoes. I wish I had bought 2 pairs at the time.

Cute shoe…. but too difficult to put on
The shoe although CUTE was too much of a struggle to put on! Because I’m of a certain age (67yrs old), I don’t have the patience to fight with tugging up the “tongue” just to put on such a cute shoe.

Pretty good except for one thing
The footbed is supportive and comfortable and the lacing keeps the shoe close to my foot. However the tongue of the shoe is quite high and hits me at the top of my ankle. If I wear "no show" socks it makes a hot spot on long hikes. This is easily addressed for me by wearing taller socks but I wish it didn't do this.
