The AG ex-Boyfriend are my absolute pair, and I am a consistent 27/28 BUT had to size down to 26. Fit is great! Fabric is soft and stretchy but keeps its shape. The Grey color is great and goes with everything.

Cute but not quite right
I love the AG EX-BF style, you can size up for a baggy look or down for a fitted look. They didn't have my usual size 25 in the white/cream color, so I ordered size 26, they're cute and comfortable, but length is a little longer than other AG Ex-BFs I have-still going to keep because flattering white (these are more of a cream color) jeans are impossible to find. Will probably hem to get that true ankle length look.

I originally purchased this in my normal size 27 (5'6", 140lbs, curvy/athletic) thinking I wanted a slouchy fit, but they stretched out completely during the day and could be pulled down while buttoned by the end of the day! I reordered in a 26 and now it is perfect- a little snug when first put on but with so much stretch it is not uncomfortable and then fit slouchy the rest of the day and they are super comfortable.

Very comfortable and flattering slouchy jean. The material is nice and soft, great for fall. I would say it runs a little big, so I did not need to size up which is often the case. The rise is just right, not too high. Wish they were a little longer but will work with booties when it gets a little cooler. Very pricey but good quality.
