Nice med-weight jean that's actually ankle length!
Looking for slightly relaxed ankle-length jean, and these (29 inseam) are great. I am 5'10 with a lean frame and slightly long torso. Not sure who decided that 27.5 in. is ankle length! These jeans do run large. I typically purchase a 29 but always like to have a little wiggle room. Purchased the 28 as a result of other reviews and still have some room. Soft and flexible, not too heavy but still feels like quality denim.

Nice wash and weight
Denim is a really nice wash and weight. I'm 5'6" and on the bigger size of a size 10 and I bought a size 30 I'd say these fit true to size. Rise was a bit higher than I'd expect for Mid Rise

Poor Fit In Every Way
They're too short in an awkward way. They're not mid-rise, which is what I wanted, they're high. (So sick of high-rise jeans.) I bought two pairs, and the fit is so far off the mark for one pair that it must be mislabeled. I have a dozen pairs of AG jeans, but quality control, especially lately, is not consistent.

rise is high
I wanted to like these: great color, slightly lighter weight, buuut in the size 27, the rise is 11”, which for me at 5’5” with a short torso is high. So they’re going back. Legs do that extra fabric along thighs thing if you have thinner thighs.

a little big, a little short
I'm curvy, long waisted and 5'7". Ordered my normal size and found these to be a little big in the waist (would have to wear a belt) and I'm not sure how I feel about the semi-cropped length. Also mine were not soft, actually a little rough, felt like cheap material. Exchanging for a size smaller to see if that works.

Wonderful fabric but too short
The fabric is so soft and comfy, and the wash is perfect for year-round wear in Southern California. However, the length was awkward on me, particularly for the volume of the leg. I tried them on with a variety of shoes at home, and nothing looked good except for very flat sandals, and even that look was meh. For reference, I am 5'6" (long legs fwiw), 145lbs. Bought a 29. Probably perfect for someone 5'4" and under.
