Alexxis High Waist Flare Leg Jeans

I sized up to 30, I’m usually a 29. 5’10 & 140lb. They are at least a 33”inseam, could be close to 34”. Nice and long with an unfinished hem. The struggle is real to find cute jeans that are long enough but alas… these worked out perfectly. I would like them a little more fitted throughout the thighs, but the loose fit works out well enough.

I am 5’4” with a significantly smaller waist than shoulders: bust and hips . I weigh 135w/ athletic, muscular, thighs / glutes a Swimmers / gymnasts physique. My husbands response was they looked “ nice” , which confirmed what I already knew and felt. ( If they truly were “ hot” just by his reaction it would be instantly clear ) Personally they made me feel “ fat “ even though I have a flat tummy and an extra small waist .Personally, All I could see were thick thighs . For my body type ( David Kibbe -Soft Natural) the cut was not flattering or slimming . These would be nice for a family gathering perhaps , where one would want to look nice but not be a smoke show like when on date night and mesmerize your husband to the point of oblivion. Maybe on another body type they are more harmonious and flattering . I love the brand AG and do have “ hot” jeans from them purchased long ago that are sadly tattered I loved them so much .I was hopeful these would live up to my expectations, sadly they did not and in fact seemed larger than the jeans I own in size 26 , and 27 from 10 years ago . Which leaves me to wonder if they are vanity sizing now .
