Adilette Sandal (Women)

These are adorable, super comfy footbed and adorable platform with good traction. But…THEY ARE HUGE! I’m a 7-7.5 women’s and I ordered a 7. They are at least 2 sizes too big. When I ordered they were labeled as women’s. I would recommend ordering as if they were men’s sizes. Frustrating!!!!

I wear an 8.5-9 in women’s shoes. Usually 9 in vans and converse. I would say I have average width or slightly narrow feet. I tried these on at DSW a few months back and discovered that my normal shoe size 9 was massive on me and my foot moved around too much. Not safe or comfortable to walk in. I found that the size 8 felt like a perfect 9 though. Didn’t buy them there but then I already knew what size I needed before ordering from the Rack. I don’t like my toes or heels to be literally right on the edge of my slides or hanging over the ends at all - i don’t know how anyone considers that comfortable honestly - so I would consider these a perfect fit since my feet have a little room at the front and back but not so much that it looks sloppy. They look a little wide when on, but they feel great and my feet don’t slide forward or back when I walk so it works for me. They do feel a bit less secure when I wear them without socks, but I planned on wearing them with socks most of the time anyway because my feet get cold easily. I think the chunkiness just adds to the style. I love platform shoes so I don’t mind chunky. I feel like chunky platform shoes kind of balance out my long feet better than completely flat shoes. I also bought these in the green and all black. I will return the black ones. I think the contrasting colored stripes on the silver/white pair and the dark/dark green pair looks better than the all black. You can’t see the black stripes very well on the black shoe.
