Ethena Embroidered Sleeveless Dress

This dress is beautiful - however, just as other reviewers pointed out, the bodice is really tight. I ordered a size up assuming I would have to have it altered in the length because of my height, but it was still really tight in the midsection and there is no extra fabric in that area to loosen it up. The alterations lady said to possibly wear some kind of shapewear, but it's not tight in the stomach area, but more in the rib section so I'm not sure how that would help. This might do better on a taller, longer, thinner torso person.

I’m 5’3” about 124lbs with a chest size of 34D and a waist size of 27-28. The chest on this dress fit fine, it was the buttons just below the rib cage and above the naval that made it very difficult to button. I could have buttoned it up but even with a half pound weight gain it would have been impossible to button up. Otherwise the dress is beautiful and the length is fine on someone petite to tall. Too bad the mid section made it a no go for me.
