14K Gold Over Silver Opal & Sapphire Ring

The ring doesn’t look like the photo. I agonized about this purchase because I fell in love with the picture and it was more than I wanted to spend on a luxury right now. I ordered a 6 and it runs true to size. I was going to return it but have decided even though it’s not what I thought, it’s pretty and I like the large opal. The sapphires leave a lot to be desired. I included a picture of the ring I thought I was getting and the one I got. I also just threw in a penny for size reference and it’s on my ring sizer.

Well, I should’ve took the advice from the previous reviewer, it’s not as pictured. The gold metal is a lighter and doesn’t have the darker antique look as in the photo. The stone is also not an opal in the photo, it is in person though. I think the stone pictured is a pearl honestly, because you can’t see through it, like you can with the actual ring. It’s still pretty, not as beautiful as advertised though.
