Single Breasted Trench Coat

Love everything about this; good length (not too long), detachable hood, arms not too long and not too short, no epaulettes (which to me add way too much shoulder emphasis and rarely seem to lie flat as intended). I travel a lot overseas and rely on my trench to always double as my coat for chilly evenings even when dressed up. This does the trick. Would look great over a dress, over dressy trousers and a pretty sweater, and etc. Perfect with jeans through glam and anything in between. Will never go out of style. Great buy.

This is a great coat. Lovely fabric and cut, one that is generous in the sleeves and hood, which can be frustratingly hard to find. But the belt and pockets leave a lot to be desired. The belt is so long, I can wrap it around my waist twice and the pockets are ridiculously shallow. So shallow in fact that you can barely put your entire hand in them. I would not trust a cell phone not to fall out of them immediately either. For a coat that fits all of boxes on every other front, this is disappointing. Mine may be going back as I’m not sure it’s worth the necessary alterations to make things right.

Love the classic styling of this well made trench coat! The material has a slight sheen and the faux leather details on the belt loops and buckle are a nice touch. I also like that the hood is removable and the belt is nice and long to tie however you want. I just wish it came in an XXS. I’m 5’3, 105 lb and the XS is a little long in the sleeves and fits slightly oversized on me. It looks too big if I button it so I’ll just wrap it and tie the belt tightly to give it more shape. That said, it’s a keeper and I’ll make it work!
